I was born in Italy, but my soul took root in Africa—among the red soils, the lion’s roar,
and the deep silence of the savannah. I chose to live among the Maasai, to love deeply, to
let the wild and the sacred shape who I am.
"An African Song" is a memoir of truth and transformation—of leaving behind the known to
embrace a freer, more authentic self.
In these pages, I sing of motherhood, love, fear, courage, desire, and rebirth. I write of
the land that raised my children, the people who became my family, and the woman I became
when I let Africa teach me how to listen to my heart.
